Lyrical Opera Theater engages local, internationally acclaimed, seasoned performers as well as young and upcoming talent.

Carnegie Hall's packed house gave a 10-minute standing ovation and welcoming shouts when Lynnette Owens soloed in Mozart's Requiem and Vesperae solennes de confessore. She has thrilled audiences and critics alike with her operatic performances that have included Madama Butterfly in Puccini's Madama Butterfly, Minnie in Puccini's La Fanciulla del West, Mimi in Puccini's La Bohème, and Tosca in Puccini's Tosca amongst numerous others. She has performed with the Lyrical Opera Theater, Rome Festival Opera, Utah Symphony & Opera, Amici Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Utah Festival Opera, Sarasota Opera, MidAmerica Productions, the American West Symphony and the Da Camera Choir and Symphony of Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------James Miller is a graduate of the University of Utah where he studied Musical Theater and received a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. Mr. Miller sang B.F Pinkerton with Lyrical Opera Theater in Puccini's Madama Butterfly. He has been a soloist with Utah Opera in Lucia di Lammermoor, Romeo & Juliette and La Rondine and with Arizona Opera singing Ferrando in Cosi Fan Tutte, Romeo in Romeo & Juliette, Des Griex in Manon and Tamino in Magic Flute. He has been a soloist with Utah Festival Opera Co., Utah Lyric Opera, Tulsa Opera and Boise Opera and with the Utah Symphony and the Nova Chamber Series on several occasions. Previous experiences includes performances of Mozart's Requiem with the Utah Symphony.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Tyler Oliphant is a confident and accomplished performer in every classical genre and style. From Mozart to Floyd, Britten, and Janacek, his "rich and expressive Baritone" is comfortable on either the opera or concert stage. He has been featured several times on the international broadcast of Music and the Spoken Word with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir where he premiered Mack Wilberg's new Requiem under the baton of Craig Jessop. He is also a regular soloist with Utah Symphony, The Cathedral of the Madeleine, and Salt Lake Choral Artists.
Tyler has performed many roles around the country including with Lyrical Opera Theater, Utah Opera, Indianapolis Opera, Jackson Symphony, Third Angle Opera of Portland, Intermountain Opera, and Opera San Luis Obispo as well as in Pesaro, Italy. His favorite roles include Falstaff and Ford in Falstaff, The Pirate King in Pirates of Penzance, Dandini in La Cenorentola, Scarpia in Tosca, and Papageno in The Magic Flute. He has played featured parts in La Traviata, Madame Butterfly, Hansel and Gretel, La Rondine, The Barber of Seville, Rigoletto, Il Trovatore, The Tales of Hoffman, The Daughter of the Regiment, Xerxes, Susanna, and countless roles in Broadway Musicals. Tyler lives in Salt Lake with his wife and four children and teaches at the Salt Lake Community College.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Daniel Tuutau, Baritone, is originally from Los Angeles, California. He holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance from the University of Utah and BA and MM degrees from the University of California, Santa Barbara. His most recent roles with the University of Utah's Lyric Opera Ensemble include Don Magnifico in Rossini's La Cenerentola, the Count in Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, and Ford in Verdi's Falstaff. He has also performed with Utah Opera in their productions of Puccini's Turandot, Bizet's Les pêcheurs de perles, and Mozart's Cosi fan tutte.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------William Goeglein, Bass Baritone, studied in the east where he sang with the Philadelphia Lyric Opera, Bronx opera and Savoy Opera Company. William sang with Utah Opera Company for 16 years performing a total of 27 roles. His 35 operatic roles include Colline in La Bohème, Raimondo in Lucia di Lammermoor, Bartolo in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Mustafà in L'italiana in Algeri, Alfonso in Cosi fan tutte and Leporello in Don Giovanni. His favorite pastime is fishing on his pontoon boat at Strawberry Reservoir.

Jensen, baritone, started singing at the age of 11, studying classical singing. When he was featured on Park City TV's morning show, the news team declared him the "8th wonder of the world." He sang the roles of Yamadori and Imperial Commissario with Lyrical Opera Theater in Puccini's Madama Butterfly and was a concert soloist in their Heart's Song concert. He has sung in the Italian Festival, "Ferragosto" for nine years and for the Naturalization Oath Ceremony in Salt Lake City. He sings frequently for military retirement ceremonies at Hill Air Force Base and the national anthem at Rocky Mountain Raceway. Appearances include the Hill Air Force Base assistance fund kickoff event, the Miss Utah USA 2009, the Community College of Air Force graduation and a gala concert for Mayor of West Valley City, Mike Windor.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Anthony Buck, tenor, is a versatile artist with experience as a singer, conductor, composer, actor, director and writer. He has sung on stages in Utah, Ohio, New York and Italy with La Musica Lirica, Tri-Cities Opera, Ohio Light Opera, and Utah Symphony and Opera. Opera News has described him as "delightful", "first-class", and "sparkling, vocally and comically." The Desert News has called him "a wonderful comic actor with a fine voice," and has reviewed his singing as "lyrically infused" and "compelling." He holds a bachelors and a masters degree in Voice from the University of Utah and remains artistically active in addition to his teaching duties both at the school and in a private studio.
Opera roles include Tamino in Die Zauberflote, Ottavio in Don Giovanni, Nemorino in L'elisir d'amore, Il Duca in Rigoletto, Kaspar in Amahl and the Night Visitors, Ferrando in Cosi fan tutte, Gherardo in Gianni Schicchi and Governor/Vanderdendeur in Candide. Concert work include the Evangelist in St. Matthew Passion, and Brian in Not the Messiah.
His directorial credits include Into the Woods, Dido and Aeneas, The Mikado, A Christmas Carol, Doo-Wop Wed Widing Hood, It's a Wonderful Life, HMS Pinafore, 12 Dancing Princesses, Father of the Bride, Amahl and the Night Visitors, The Magic Flute as well as assistant director for Mornings at Seven, Mlle. Modiste, and Yeoman of the Guard. Music Director credits: Legally Blonde, Drowsy Chaperone, Anything Goes.
In 2007 he was a District Finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. He has taught at the University of Utah, The Cathedral of the Madeleine Choir School, Sing Voice Studios, Draper Youth Theatre, and People Productions.

Jamie Forchic, Soprano, is eleven years old and has been singing and playing the piano under the tutelage of Lynnette Owens for four years. She has also been dancing since the age of four. Jamie loves all forms of artistic expression and is a talented visual artist as well. She is currently in fifth grade, a disciplined student who also loves animals, being out in nature, reading and spending time with her family.

Deborah Siddoway, Soprano, has worked collaboratively and individually on a variety of concerts. As a classically trained musician, Deborah's primary performance focus is Opera. Recent performances include Kate Pinkerton & Mama in Lyrical Opera Theater's 2014 production of Madama Butterfly.

River has been involved with theatre and acting for about two years. During such time she has brought several well-known and loved characters to life, including; Fiona in Shrek Jr., The Master Toymaker in Babes in Toyland, Mrs. Meers and Miss Flannery in Thoroughly Modern Millie Jr., Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland Jr., Sebastian in The Little Mermaid Jr., and a Geisha in Lyrical Opera Theater's Madama Butterfly. Over the course of this time River's deep-rooted passion for acting has only grown stronger, making her dream of sharing her beautiful vision with the world through performances on both the HOLLYWOOD big screen and BROADWAY even more powerful. She thanks each of those cherished individual's that have encouraged, supported, and inspired her along this challenging and eventful journey.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Arielle Tholen is a light lyrical soprano who just received her Bachelor's of music in performance from Southern Utah University. She has enjoyed collaborating with many choirs and orchestras as well as soloing for ,Ferragosto, Utah's Italian festival. Most recently she performed as Zerlina in Southern Utah University's production of Mozart's Don Giovanni. Other roles she has enjoyed bringing to life are a novice in Puccini's Suor Angelica and the Five Year Old in Milton Granger's The Proposal. Arielle loves singing as well as exploring other ways to interact with music, last year she was the Assistant music director for Utah Shakespeare Festival: Playmakers production of The Pirates of Penzance by Gilbert & Sullivan.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Carolyn King, Mezzo Soprano, has experience singing solo and in choirs, acting, voice-over work, and vocal coaching. She has acted in several school plays but her most notable performance was playing the role of Salome in Savior of the World at the LDS Conference Center in Salt Lake City. She is very excited to be in Lyrical Opera Theater's production of Tosca. It will be her first full-length opera.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Alexa Givens, Lyrical Soprano, was born in Salt Lake City, UT and attends the Weilenmann School of Discovery in Park City, Utah where she plays the violin, sings and performs in musical theater. She danced and performed with the Salt Lake City Dance Company for five years performing at the Rose Wagner Theater and Kingsbury Hall. She's been taking piano lessons since she was five with Kathleen Kristensen. She plays the piano and performs at the Utah Piano Federation at the University of Utah and also performs at the University of Utah Vocal Federation. When she was 6 years old she watched America's got Talent and was inspired by Jackie Evancho, a 10 year old opera singer. That's when she discovered her talent for opera. She is now 13 years old and has a dream to become a famous opera singer and to travel the world singing and making people happy. She enjoys swimming, English horseback riding and traveling to Prague where her mother is from. She has studied under Lynnette Owens.

Her favorite roles include Peter Pan in Peter Pan, Diana in Lend Me A Tenor, Annie Sullivan in The Miracle Worker, and Domina in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, where she met her husband George. By summer she and her husband own and operate the Cody Old Time Photo photo shop in Cody, Wyoming, and by day she teaches science at the Clark Planetarium.
